Mothers are forever although we also love dad – Better Life Info

Original Source: Mothers are forever although we also love dad – Better Life Info

Father’s Day has just been celebrated and even Mother’s Day is commemorated once a year. On these days we show our love towards both our parents, but, a mother is needed forever.

Well, that sounds like poetry, but honestly I have seen children as young as 2 years old playing happily, while their fathers are slogging abroad. But, can you tell me how many children can live without their mothers for even a day. I missed my father when I was small, as he was not there. But, praise the Lord, I have been extremely fortunate as I received the love and care of not only my mother but also her special friend and sisters.

Mothers are the backbone of the family

The mothers are special for numerous reasons. These reasons include their astonishing “superpowers,”  — like mothers’ ears that hear and comprehend rapid fire queries from several kids at once. She sees through her head while taxiing her brood for different activities and acting as an air traffic controller.

Moms are the first to arrive whenever a child is in problem. They are the initial lines of protection for their offspring and the backbone of the family. A mother juxtaposes managing her young adults’ emotional ballrooms and their teenagers’ hormonal haziness while wrestling her bug with a crazy childcare adventurer and taking care of her specific requirements.

There is a saying that God could not be everywhere and so He made moms. And although we love our fathers for all that they did for us when we were small, but we cannot live without our mothers even we have grown up.

Moms play a special role, which nobody else can fill. In their children’s hearts, mothers hold a particular place.
Indeed, if there is such a thing as endless love, it is that of your mother. That love started when you were not even born and will last forever.

Being a father, I wonder what makes mothers so special. In fact, looking at the way my kid loves his mom, I sometimes feel I would have better been his mother.

I would like to know through your comments, why mothers play such an influential role in the family, especially in the life of their children?

A man should love God above all things Prophet Abraham showed that

On this Father’s Day, I am writing this post in honor of Prophet Abraham. He is the patriarch of all three religions: Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, and his love for God is well know. He was tested by the Creator in various ways.

The supreme sacrifice and other tests that Prophet Abraham gave

From the time he was a child, Abraham was devoted to the One Almighty God and no one else. That prompted his own people, who were non-believers, to put Abraham into a fire, when he was just a child. There also came a time when Abraham, who is called Ibrahim (peace be upon him) in Islam, became old and God wanted him to sacrifice the one thing he loved the most. That one thing turned out to be his son Ismael, who was Abraham’s only child at that time.

That was the final test and supreme sacrifice of Abraham, who is also known as the Friend of God in Islam. A final test is considered to be the greatest test, and Abraham passed in that test too.

His child is the most precious thing to a man

I want to stress the point here that Prophet Abraham loved God above all things, because for a man his child is indeed the most precious thing. In fact, a true father loves his child more than he loves himself and above all treasures of the world. Abraham had proved his devotion to God by getting ready to be burnt in the fire. But, the Creator finally tested his dedication by testing his love for his child.

Finally, it was the mercy of God that saved the life of Ismael. The Beneficent One sent a lamb from heaven to be sacrificed in his place.

But, the love for God should be above all things

In all this Prophet Abraham showed that a man loves his child above all things, but that love should not surpass the love for the Almighty One. I believe that a mother carries a child in herself for nine months, but a father carries him in his heart for life. But, the love for God should be above all things. That is all I want to say on this Father’s Day.

And in these times of Covid-19, the most important is that we should reinforce our love and faith in the One Almighty God and put all our trust in Him.

A mother deeply influences the life of a child. A woman has a deep influence on the life of her children, from the moment they are born. Here is a short film whose Director/Producer Meir Kay says “Nothing in the world is as powerful than a mother’s love for her child. A connection so strong and special it can do miraculous things.”Mr Kay also says, “I came across a story concerning Edison and his mother, but further investigation lead me to believe that such a story never took place and so I adapted it accordingly. The truth still remains that nothing can replace a mother’s love. I’d like to dedicate this video to my mother who’s unconditional love and support has driven me to be the man I am today.”

Control your anger even ‘the angry young man’ is old now

Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Bollywood actor, was once known as the angry young man for the roles he played in his movies like Sholay, Deewar, Trishul and others. But, he is old now (Google might be able to tell how old he is) and being angry is no more in. The mega star had once tweeted “We should learn to appreciate what we have, before time makes us appreciate what we had.”

Hence, my advise and 13 word story for today is

Control your anger because it is just one letter away from danger

Anger is an eroding emotion. If not dealt with firmly and positively, it destroys everything around and within us.

The rest is for you to understand, because there is no better person to explain this than our past experiences.

Finally, let me say that I am not any Bachhan or any other movie fan.

I am just a fan of Prophet Muhammad (p.bu.h.) who cared about his followers even on his death bed 1400 years ago.

May God bless us all with Peace and better understanding.

Here is a book that may help you receive that blessing

This book tells us how to

  • Cope with anger and be angry only at the right time, with the right person, in the right measure.
  • Grow in the power of understanding ourselves and others and avoid making hasty judgments.
  • Develop the spirit of forgiveness and learn to forgive even before forgiveness is asked for.
  • Practise the therapy of cheerfulness when all other therapies fail, cheerfulness can still work.

An invaluable guide by one of India’s most revered spiritual masters, this book offers simple yet profound tips which help us solve the problems and challenges that are a part of everyday life.

About the Author

J.P. Vaswani is an Indian scholar, who has spoken at numerous conferences and venues including the British House of Commons in London, the Global Forum of Spiritual Leaders in Oxford and the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago.

He was honored with the U Thant Peace Award.

Customer Reviews:

ravi The book is not what i was expecting yet it is a powerful tool to control your anger and stay cheerful. The examples are good and connects to you but i found them a bit incomplete. It moves to a more spiritual side rather than staying on the main course of anger management.
But overall it is a good book to read.

The_Leader One of the best book for Anger management, talks about changing our attitude internally and spiritually, teachings from Veda’s and Bhagvad Gita takes this book to another dimension if one doesn’t know how to apply these ideas in this book than its useless however this book is simple to understand.

Capital murder charge filed against mother accused of drugging Jason Marks, 6, to death for insurance money – Life And Crime Stories

Source: Capital murder charge filed against mother accused of drugging Jason Marks, 6, to death for insurance money – Life And Crime Stories

Money is important, but what would you say if a woman kills her child for insurance money.

Ashley Marks has been charged with capital murder after she allegedly killed her 6-year-old son with a toxic mix of methamphetamine and cocaine for insurance money, according to Harris County court records.

25-year-old appeared before a judge on April 1 in Harris County court   where prosecutors read a  charge of capital murder against her in the death of  June 27 death of Jason Sanchez Marks, according to court records.

Prosecutors say Marks allegedly killed the boy to collect on two life insurance policies totaling $100,000.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences ruled the cause of death as the toxic effects of chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan and diphenhydramine with methamphetamine. The agency said the boy’s manner of death was homicide.

Prosecutors have accused Marks of causing Jason’s death by administering those drugs.

According to the medical examiner, the boy died at his grandfather’s house.

Marks is due to make her first appearance in court before Judge Robert Johnson in the 177th criminal court on April 5.

Age is just a number; God owns time

Source: Age is just a number; God owns time – Life And Crime Stories

Here is an article from my WordPress friend who owns the blog Hill Study Center. In the article, the author  discusses the old saying ‘Age is just a number,’, which according to me means no matter how old you are you can still enjoy your life without hurting the feelings of others.

The best part  of the Hill Study Center article is where the author asks who owns time? and then says God, the creator of heaven and earth. Even Islam universally views time as created. It is God’s handiwork which, like all Creation, is under the command of God, who Muslims call ‘Allah,’ the one who is worthy of all worship and praise.

God is not bound by the constraints of time, as He is eternal. The Holy Quran says the Almighty God just commands “Be” and it is. This is how He also brought Jesus Christ into being, although Mary remained pure and untouched by men throughout her life.

And although I have earlier said that age does not matter, my advice is to learn to give proper value to time and act your age, in order to maintain your dignity. It is best to take aging gracefully while enjoying life at the same time.

May God bless us all with good understanding so that we may learn the value of time and make the best use of it  for this world and the hereafter.

QWERTY keyboard trivia

Wikipedia says: “QWERTY is a keyboard design for Latin-script alphabets. The name comes from the order of the first six keys on the top left letter row of the keyboard. The QWERTY design is based on a layout created for the Sholes and Glidden typewriter and sold to E. Remington and Sons in 1873.”

Social skills you didn’t learn in school

Unlike topics like math or science, social skills are more of a “learn on the job” kind of skill. When you’re a child, you can learn how to manage conflict, make friends and navigate groups by doing it. But not everyone learns the same lessons the same way. Sometimes, they take a whole lifetime to refine, and many of us never master them.
