Poetry Corner 11: Theme: Eros!

Dear Friends 🙂

It has been long since we had a theme in this event. It was just once( remember ‘water’ anyone?) It is for a change I am trying a theme.

  • Please send your 6 words on theme Eros. Those who have sent their entries need not send again as there is no need to make any sense.
  • My email ID: thinkerv0@gmail.com
  • If you want to see how the poem turns out: Look here
  • I know some people will send themed entry and others who will not read carefully will send random one and amalgamation will be fun. What do you think?( since you won’t respond to this question, I know I am right!)

Love rhymes with light ❤

Friday Feature Plan!

Dear Friends,

From the discussion so far, I have come to realize that rotation will be less boring and easy. I propose following 4 activities for 4 Fridays :

  1. First Friday:

Quotes–3 quotes by the same author, with brief author bio and picture. Please nominate yourself in advance. Better if you nominate when schedule confirmation post is done. Though there is no constraint of any number of us doing the same thing here on first Friday. All I know–we can share 3 quotes everyday and nobody will mind–just that images are allowed only for the featured posts as of now.

2. Second Friday:

100 words story. Please nominate yourself in advance to make your post a feature/sticky. However, there is no restriction on posting any number of them here.

3. Third Friday:

Film review/TV show review. It will be better if you review a film or an entire season of a TV show–however some TV shows have great episodes too and they can be reviewed sometimes. Again–no constraint on how many people do them.

4.  Fourth Friday:

Book Review. This one is hardest as far as I am concerned. So I seek help from readers. Please keep it up and running. A review a month, will keep unshakeable plinth or something…

Now since the next Friday ( November 20th ) is the 3rd Friday of the month. Who is up for a film review? I swear I didn’t plan it this way because I am fond of talking about films–it just happened this way.

Love and light ❤

Right Now, Right Here, I’m Alive!

Eugenia&Robert

May this agony free me forever

Called by the wind, we fluttered.
Droopy as a dying cactus blossom

Lovely, serene, looking out for more.

Perplexed eyes, cupped hands, dried lips.

Lights shine bright, chasing out darkness

Perfect imperfections galvanized her infinite smiles.

Calm settles comfortably in the silence

Steps taken by faith, where now?

On Repeat:Work, play, write, live!

Thanksgiving approaches, eat well and wisely!

Darkness of drizzling dreary damp days

Joey doesn’t share food. Me too.

Speaking with a mouthful of ashes

Remember the poor and the afflicted.

Forget all worlds, come to me.

Right now, right here, I’m alive.

Notes:

  1. This is a group weekly event.
  2. This week–17 entries. Thanks everyone!
  3. There is no theme, 6 words. We publish every Tuesday.
  4. You are most welcome to participate.
  5. Please send your entry to: thinkerv0@gmail.com

Poetry Corner Nine Invites You!

Dear Friends 🙂

Week after week you all are supporting this event. I thank Garth for his idea and all of you for the support. I am doing blogging 101 course so I would make this post sticky and keep tagging you people for invites instead of doing an invite post everyday.

1. Please send your 6 words entry to : thinkerv0@gmail.com
2. There is no theme.

Thank you very much 🙂

Love and light ❤
