Call for Admin Role!

As this forum needs a revival, it is difficult to run this forum alone. Catherine (@wynstep) has not answered to my previous post. I don’t know if she will. I don’t even know if she could harm the site. So, I have removed her admin priviledge.
A panel of three admins would be perfect. Even two would be fine.

Criteria:
1. Sincere for the cause of the forum.
2. Active participation in forum activities.
3. Innovative.

Let’s Rule it… Rule it.

I think I am jinxed!
When I go out of town, and wifey and Mom are home alone, I come back to find that they aren’t speaking with each other. When I switch on the TV to watch news after a week, I learn that America is left with not one candidate they want to really truly vote for in the coming elections. When I eat out and return home after dinner, I realize that wifey had made my favorite chhole-bhature for dinner, and when I decide to ditch the office party and arrive home in time for dinner, I end up shoveling down khichhadi!
So when I returned to Blogger’s World this morning (baited by Colette’s post,) I wasn’t surprised. It appears that the jinx is still strong for I once again see locked horns amidst clouds of steam rising from some heated discussions.
The point is – can we have a quick discussion on the rules of posting to the forum? Which are rules that we find most irksome? If each of us could list the rules we dislike, we could statistically come up with a list of, say, five rules that the majority wants to follow. As they would be OUR rules, conformance should improve (fingers-crossed, we never know with the Anandhotep-Types,) and we would feel more relaxed, posting, commenting, or even snapping at the heels of one-another.
Those among you who want to pack me up in a holdall and shunt me off to another galaxy would be glad to know that Mom and wifey would thank you for it, and even pay the price of the holdall.

Does crying make one weak?

Would you please take some time reading my post?

The Problem

The question in the title has  been bothering me since the last thirty six hours. I’m also providing a little background over how I came across it. Let’s have a little #discussion on the topic, shall we?

A Little Background

Yesterday morning while I went to the barber’s for a haircut, I saw a couple with their daughter there. The little girl’s head was shaved. Her mother said, “She does not have nice hair. Will she grow nice hair after the shave?”

For me, the hair seemed nice. At least it was better than mine. But that’s not the real thing. The girl, like most of the girls loved her hair and was crying. Her mother said, “Don’t care what other will say. You need to be strong. You should not cry. Crying makes you weak.”

The first response my mind gave was that the notion was wrong. Occasional crying has actually helped me psychologically and emotionally. Later on, as I thought more, I felt that she might be right.

I have been debating inside me without a conclusion. That’s why I want you to take some time and involve in the discussion.

A Time To Celebrate!

This is a beautiful synchronicity that this beautiful post with two pictures, which is sharing of happiest moments of his life, also became the 1000th post on this lovely forum. This is what this forum is for–to share love, happiness, friendship, art and chat a lot of chattering–useless talk 🙂

I would like to take this moment to thank all admins, volunteers and friends from the core of my heart for making this forum a success and a wonderful place.

Our weekly features are working wonderfully well. Our member counts is gradually increasing and we regularly provide feedback to most of the visitors here 🙂

#feedback Has been given on more than 350posts. Though many of us don’t use the feedback tag so sometimes it becomes difficult to keep track but it must have been more than 350 posts 🙂

#help has been given on about 92 posts 🙂

The forum is soon going to complete 3 months. In these 3 months it has been a source of pleasure, friendship and learning for so many of us. I am sure with your friendship and support it will keep flourishing. I also want to work on forum awards in months to come. Since some of our members were busy I delayed working on them but they have been on my mind for long now 🙂
