Call for Admin Role!

As this forum needs a revival, it is difficult to run this forum alone. Catherine (@wynstep) has not answered to my previous post. I don’t know if she will. I don’t even know if she could harm the site. So, I have removed her admin priviledge.
A panel of three admins would be perfect. Even two would be fine.

Criteria:
1. Sincere for the cause of the forum.
2. Active participation in forum activities.
3. Innovative.

The Way Forward for this Forum?

Some of the comments of @beckybwinch in reply to my Merry Christmas post I think made a lot of sense both about how this forum started and why it might be struggling.

If you all remember we started out after various Blogging Uni courses and it was nice to stay in touch – but obviously some of us got very busy with our own blogs and didn’t want to post here instead and others simply gave up blogging altogether.

If we want to rejuvenate this forum as a meeting place perhaps we need to rethink some of our approaches.

What do you think about the following?

• Instead of the lots of different features that required people to post here, only keep a few going in the form of challenges to which people should reply on their own blogs, leaving a link in the comments or a ping back (as it’s done with the Daily Post and many other challenges in wp.com already) – while:
• Still offer people the opportunity to do a full guest post – once a week or month (or whatever) with people being able to sign up in advance for the slot so that they could advertise their blogs.
• Keep this area of Bloggers’ World like a chat zone for people just to socialise and discuss blogging problems and triumphs, ask for advice, etc.
• Perhaps collate some blogging resources available to members

What are your thoughts?

Shutterbug Showcase – A Cosy Corner

Thanks for the excellent prompt @foodeezjunction. Must admit I struggled though as I rarely take photos indoors and all I could think of doing when I saw the prompt was disappearing off and sitting in a comfy seat with a book and a glass of wine! However I told myself to focus and so I did. I was scrolling through photographs I took a week or so ago and I came across this one.

Can you spot her in the corner? She’s in the top right, and looks very cosy up there. Although when I took a close up of her in her cosy corner I decided I’d probably not find her nest as cosy as she does! What does cosy corner make you think of? Do you have a cosy corner? Do leave a comment below, or even better take a photograph too and link back to this post. Next week it will be @sashay909 showcasing a photograph. I was going to suggest ‘drama’ for your prompt but the daily post did dramatic at weekend, so how about ‘companion‘ for next week.

Relax! I cannot think of a better word now, after a hectic days of travel and shifting from once city to another. And, so is the theme Jennifer (@jennifernicholewells) gave to me for this week’s Shutterbug Showcase. Thank you Jennifer 🙂

Well, this view is from my room’s window. I can sit here for hours and watch the birds, the greenery around and the kids at school too (that’s on the right, not captured in the pic).
