Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to blog as much as I would like lately… But luckily I have an amazing guest blogger. Check out her new post.
Ai, it’s been a while since I posted something. Life has been (almost) too busy to blog.
But 🙂 nevertheless… some Sunday inspiration for you guys. ENJOY!!
How to create a ‘Meet the team’-page
Who oh who can help me with this? I’ve been wanting to create a ‘this is us’, ‘meet the team’ page for a while now but I have no idea how to do it… You know.. one of those pages which has a grid of pictures or portrait illustrations with a little introduction written underneath. I think it would be great to have one of those for me and the guest writers…but how?? Any ideas?? #techhelp #help
A new Be Inspired feature of an amazing woman named Dalia Mogahed. Not only in honor of International Women’s Day 2016 but also to show the ‘other side’ of the story during the election madness in the US (read: Trump madness). Enjoy!!
Hai everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend (full of empathy 😉 ).
Last week I was looking for a writer to take over my monthly Netflix Watchlist. I found one 🙂 Such a relief cause I had no idea where to find the time to write it myself. But the watchlist got me thinking… The reason I bound it to Netflix from the beginning was that it gave the opportunity to fish titles from a smaller pond. Does that make sense? Finding 5 great titles based on one theme in Netflix is doable (although the greatness is up for discussion). Finding 5 titles based on one theme among all movies ever made… that’s a challenge. So that’s a plus for keeping the Netflix idea. It makes it more doable for the writer plus less pressure from the actual movie experts.
But…the biggest downside is that Netflix offers different titles in different countries. This completely screws up (pardon my french) the idea of a watchlist for global citizens…
How would you guys delimit the list? Watchlist theme + year? Or Watchlist theme + origin? I don’t know… Idea’s are welcome 🙂
5 ways to save the world – new post
I just published a new blog post on how small personal changes can have a great impact on the word’s welfare 🙂
Hope you guys like it!!!
Give it a thumbs up if you do 😉
Do you guys have facebook pages to go with your blog? I recently started a facebook community to accompany TheGoodStory blog. Really nice cause not everybody likes getting a full inbox from following blogs. The only thing is that my facebook page is getting many likes and follows (jeej) but the visitors stats of the actual blog are not increasing. Does anyone have experience with this? How to motivate people to actually visit the blog instead of just hitting the Thumbs Up? Thanks 😀
Hi everyone! I have a question for you all.. Every month I publish a movie watchlist on my blog with a certain theme. The theme’s are in some way connected to global development. We had a list about women empowerment & equality and one about consumerism. The lady who writes these lists is unavailable for the next 2 (maybe three) months so I am looking for a writer who would like to take over for a while.
So, if you are into movies and documentaries and have an interest in global issues.. Give me a shout! It is a netflix watchlist so you need to have access to netflix… But let me know if you are interested so we can decide on a theme. The next watchlist is due to be published in the first week of March.
