How About a Blog Party?

To catch up with each other and liven this place up? 🙂

wow, yes please 🙂 what a nice idea – but if everyone else won’t turn up cos i’m a lil raucous with my black coffee and blues music or maybe some foos (or on a good day rockin with elvis costello or presley or tracy chapman or anyone from prodigy, plan B or whatever at all anyone likes really, bhangra et al – well, if no-one’s showing up cos i’m too with piyush and paulee (in memory at least), well then I’ll step out elsewhere and leave y’all to have a lovely time but drop in with fairycakes and munchies, only virtual ones from here of course. And virtually anything else i could contribute but i’ll leave room for other suggestions. (oops, evening in with the merry maidens of munchether at the moment having a never-ending hen party that isn’t quite happening for all sorts of reasons within 3 or 4 months but all on call… or something like that). Now, how do we have a blog party? Hopefully u don’t mean with an is after a part, i.e. partis. Yet @piyushavir has a very busy and successful writing life and did a lot of rallying round and getting a posting schedule together etc. but appeared to have left duties here quite a long time ago and their own project’s website doing very well by all acounts (?guessing there, looked fab from the outside) while we all had our differences she was actually here trying a lot – as had all sorts of original team been and some of me struggled to even get started and help at all. Apols for waffling. Over and out for dinner, lovely idea [comments will get busy if it’s a party call surely & then we might need @admin to put newer comments to top]. #suggestion [must remember my #blogging101 substantive commenting? – my party talk running on too long? dinner arrived a minute ago. Cheers all 🙂

  I don’t know either how to do a blog party as I’ve never done one. I suppose we try to fix a date and invite people?

I got busy elsewhere and failed to keep up here on BW, but I do have good memories and met some very nice folks. This BW does require a skilled adm. We have had some amazing ones but I guess they got “busy elsewhere” just as I did. Party, though? Surely I could work in a visit. I’d love to see folks over here again. I do continue to see some on our blogs.
