Book Tag – The Result!

Book Tag 3: No Convensional by Perdida entre Libros

@sandeept252, @pamkirst2014 and @colettebates

The link above takes you to the result of the book tag (although it’s all in Spanish!). 🙂 In this case we both had to answer the same set of questions, not about one specific book but more about what sort of books we liked and that sort of stuff. I think it’s quite an interesting idea, it’s basically an interview and you link up with the other blogger.

Thanks for tagging, good work both, interesting set of questions and answers. I really should try and learn Spanish, I keep meaning to make a start. But I’m only just picking my poetry class back up again, very behind with things and brain cells keep slipping into reverse! Aging should be fun! 🙂

I can only pick out bits and pieces of the Spanish, I regret to say, but I love the concept, too. As we look for ways to involve people more closely in Blogger’s World, maybe this would be an excellent activity…people could work in pairs, then the one who answered the questions could create questions for another blogger. A weekly feature with links to blogs?

  Could be an idea. It would give people a chance to talk about themselves and their blogs a little and we would all get to know each other a little better! Which probably would be good for a sense of community to develop.

I quite enjoyed a quick read of this booktag yesterday but went to have a quick look again at the questions in case you’d actually tagged us to do the same challenge and refer a pingback to the post /here. Not translating in google now but might try babelfish.com if time whenever – unless u want to issue them here? 12 questions is quite a lot to think about tho answering for me and I’d wondered about noting them on slips and picking one or three randomly or whatever at a time and doing it that split way, maybe (each) tagging another member/s here or to their blogs if not members. Get ball rolling? It could be open to anyone to just choose to tag along in a similar way. Sorry if ‘ad hoc’ challenges and responses in a loose timeframe make things more difficult but seems to me less organisational work for volunteer(s) & participants. working in pairs could be good idea for a feature round-up or something from a selection or as a main thing about a new theme monthly or quarterly even as some of you do lots here consistently for ages now and all have own lives too of course. If members felt free to just issue their own small challenges as well, or invite people to join in a particular ‘event’ wherever and join back here for sharing/discussion maybe? (Sorry, part of that comment belongs in other thread but never mind.) Also i sometimes tweet from widgets here tho not often as a bit social media shy and still learning all them extras! And the BW facebook page might still be going and I’ve shared to there too now and then, but not using those widgets and platforms well yet… so more ‘sharing’ maybe would help drive interaction…

  Colette, this is not a challenge for people to do here, it was a one off that this other blogger asked me to do. I shared it so people could see what a book tag was like as none of us seemed to know. On the other hand, there is no reason why we couldn’t run book tags here now we know what it is – if people ate interested!
