Reports of Tiger Population Increase Decried as “Misleading” by Scientists

Well friends, it seems the reports of the first global tiger population increase in over a century are already being contested. Scientists with Panthera, a New York-based NGO focused on wild cat conservation, has called the claims “misleading.” They say the reason for the jump in estimated tiger numbers is better data, not actual population growth.
