Crashing The Pristine Waves

I have read the theme for this week’s blog posts, and I have come up with a bit of my own spin on it. But… it’s anything BUT pristine. It’s messy, sort of like my stream of conscious writing style. And in fact, I happen to clean it up for my audience so that they can understand what the hell I’m saying. If I were writing for me, then I would have words that would just come randomly in my mind at any order. But, that would be a bit too opposite day of what this blog’s theme is. Sorry, everyone.

I’m a rebel at heart, but I do it in an artistic way, a way that perhaps makes it so perfect after all. For example, on my weekends I do work, I am to show up at the early hour of 8 a.m., which I made as a personal rule that I do not actually GET OUT OF BED until then unless there are SERIOUS circumstances revolving around getting out of bed before 8 a.m. Needless to say, I usually end up getting there between 8:30 and 10 a.m., which my client doesn’t seem to mind unless he was an important family visit to go to on the weekend. In fact, as of late, he has been relieved to get a few hours of shut-eye before he has to get up and deal with other people. My company, however, is a bit frustrated with me about me showing up two hours late. Given a corporate stand-point, I completely understand, but on the same token, IT’S A WEEKEND. Who the hell really wants to get up at 8 a.m. on a Saturday or Sunday? I kind of raised my eyebrow when I first heard about the shift, but okay… I dealt with it and do try to show up as close to 8 a.m. as possible. And yes, there have been days when I was there at EXACTLY 8 a.m. Point is, my client notices that I am not a morning person and finds my rebelliousness unique. By the way, I work in home health care, which is why I can get away with this. At any other job, I’d totally be fired.

I also have a habit of crashing parties, and other conversations with witty yet relevant observations that they may not have thought of until I said something. I have a unique way of doing that, although I have gotten better about not giving my opinion unless someone asks. I’m sort of breaking that rule right now. Sorry, everyone.

In other words, I just wanted to say hi and that I missed you all. I’m in a strange mood right now, but these things happen. Everyone on here is an awesome writer and can blog better than I do. I sort of misuse my blog as a personal diary/place to write my poetry.
