Friday Feature Plan!

Dear Friends,

From the discussion so far, I have come to realize that rotation will be less boring and easy. I propose following 4 activities for 4 Fridays :

First Friday:

Quotes–3 quotes by the same author, with brief author bio and picture. Please nominate yourself in advance. Better if you nominate when schedule confirmation post is done. Though there is no constraint of any number of us doing the same thing here on first Friday. All I know–we can share 3 quotes everyday and nobody will mind–just that images are allowed only for the featured posts as of now.

2. Second Friday:

100 words story. Please nominate yourself in advance to make your post a feature/sticky. However, there is no restriction on posting any number of them here.

3. Third Friday:

Film review/TV show review. It will be better if you review a film or an entire season of a TV show–however some TV shows have great episodes too and they can be reviewed sometimes. Again–no constraint on how many people do them.

4. Fourth Friday:

Book Review.This one is hardest as far as I am concerned. So I seek help from readers. Please keep it up and running. A review a month, will keep unshakeable plinth or something…

Now since the next Friday ( November 20th ) is the 3rd Friday of the month. Who is up for a film review? I swear I didn’t plan it this way because I am fond of talking about films–it just happened this way.

  @aventuraroxy Reviews need to be published here first, if possible. If you publish both here and on your blog that is also fine. If you are publishing a review which has been there on your blog or by you on another site but is new to most of us, that is also fine 🙂

I wasn’t kidding about reviewing Longmire! 😀 However, since I’m doing grammar on the 26th, how about I take the 3rd Friday in December? Does that work?

  Are you asking about the Friday Features or just about any post, Indira?
  
  If you want to do feature post in the said categories you post in full here but tell in advance so that plan is cleared. If you want to get feedback on other posts on your blog you share only links( like you have done in Writing 101 commons course 🙂 )

I think they are all brilliant suggestions but finding pictures and wrting about authors of quotes could present a problem for some people with being time consuming.

        Any news site or newspaper. Put your pictures onto your computor if they are not already, if they are transfer them to your blog site, use media where you post and upload to your blog.

Hi, I would like to try “100 words story”, but I have a question..is that okay if I post every second Friday of the month the excerpt from my story I used to work few months ago?
And I would also love to try the “TV Show review”, but is it the whole season or maybe an episode is okay? Thanks!

  Both whole seasons and episodes are OK. You can also post stories which you have in your drafts and please nominate yourself when I invite posts 🙂 Cheers!
